April 12, 2008 Construction of Harbors for the Tsunami Victims (Phase I) (US$6 million)

Purpose:

To help revive the fisheries sector and facilitate inter-island travel

Activities:

construction of harbors on 10 selected islands, including breakwaters, retaining walls; carrying out of reclamation and dredging works; and consultancy services.

US$43.4 million
