Secondary Towns Water Supply and Sanitation (US$9 million)
Purpose:
To provide sustainable access to safe water supply and sanitation services in 16 secondary towns
Activities:
  • rehabilitation, development and expansion of water sources, treatment facilities and piped water supply systems;
  • carrying out of safe sanitation awareness campaigns;
  • construction of community, school and public latrines;
  • institution strengthening; and
  • land acquisition and resettlement.
