The name of the institution is The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID); i.e., the full legal name comes first, followed by the acronym in parentheses. In continuous text, the first reference to the institution shall always be The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID). Thereafter the institution shall be referred to as OFID throughout the text.

The flag features the new logo on a background consisting of the two OFID corporate identity colors, displayed as bars of equal width.

The logo is available in three sizes and consists of two colors. Using the logo and its colors in a consistent and careful way will help make a lasting impression on those who use and encounter this logo. The characters and graphic components in the logo have been carefully developed and drawn. Logo characters, proportions, colors and graphic elements should not be re-drawn, typeset, altered, embellished or adjusted in any way.

The OFID corporate identity employs two different typeface families: Gill Sans (as the primary font) and Garamond (as the secondary font).
Gill Sans is used as a primary typeface in headers to convey the OFID message clearly.

The colors that constitute a major part of the new OFID identity are a dark and a light blue. Since dark blue is often used in the corporate identities of international organisations, it is of paramount importance that the OFID colors are always used together.
This unique color combination will help create a special impact and enhance recognition of the OFID logo throughout the world. Since these colors characterize the OFID identity, they should be applied to all material pertaining to the organization.
